BioThis journal is intended as a forum for interaction between myself, comic fans, and pros. It is also a place where I will post news, updated, and exclusive images.

A little about myself--
Career: I got my start as an intern at Wildstorm in 1996. There I was given fill-ins on Stormwatch and Wet Works. I then became the monthly artist on the final five issues of Backlash. Based on my Backlash work I was asked by Marvel to do three issues of Excalibur. From there I moved on to Deadpool as the regular fill-in guy and later became the monthly penciler. Following that I moved on to DC comics where I penciled Robin for four years, followed by Detective Comics for another year. I'm now the monthly artist of ........ (can't say yet!) I'm also working on a very personal project which is a couple of years down the road. Together with my wife Rebecca and several other Portland area pro artists we formed Mercury Studio.
Personal: My wife Rebecca and I met at Wildstorm in 1996 and were married in 1999. We have a wonderful little girl. I'm a sucker for 80's techno. I like rock-a-billy style. Grant Morrison and Warren Ellis are my favorite comic writers today (Garth Ennis is a close third). Recommended reading- The Invisibles, The Watchmen, Planetary, Batman: Year One, Sleeper, Beanworld. My favorite book of all time is Cannery Row. I'm into conspiracy theories and the unexplained. People tell me I look grumpy.
